Part of my ‘Perseus’ series. The Simpsons (especially the early episodes) had a dark violence to it, reflecting the dysfunctionality at the heart of the American Dream. The Simpsons living room, with its familiar curved doorways and suburban furniture, seemed the perfect contemporary (lockdown) setting for this piece.
