About
Ian Kirkpatrick is a Canadian artist based in London, UK. His colourful, iconographic art is inspired by the history of art and design, which he remixes into reflections on contemporary culture.
Ian has exhibited his work across the UK and internationally, including shows in London, New York, Chicago, Montréal, Berlin and Rome. He’s produced commissions for the London 2012 Olympics, the 2014 Tour de France, Oxford University Museum of Natural History, Normanby Hall, and The Royal Museum of Mariemont, Belgium. His public artworks are on display in Leeds, Middlesbrough, Southampton, Rotterdam and Amsterdam, and in the atrium of Cunard’s new Queen Anne cruise ship.
