Part of my ‘Triumph of Bacchus’ series inspired by the fantasy art of Hieronymous Bosh, Henry Darger, and Shigeru Miyamoto (the creator of Super Mario Brothers and The Legend of Zelda). Candy-coloured icons are combined into a landscape alternating between Paradise and Dystopia. At the centre of the chaos is the god Bacchus, whose quest for pleasure and self-fulfillment upsets the careful balance of the world.
Giclee print with archival pigment inks on 280gsm Innova Soft White Cotton paper. Limited edition of 30. All prints are signed and numbered.
