Paradise Lost (Part 2)

“...and from his horrid hair / Shakes pestilence and war” – Milton, Paradise Lost

This is a companion piece to my other ‘Paradise Lost’ print. Both designs were inspired by Gustav Doré’s illustrations for Milton’s epic poem. The pose of this figure was also based on Michelangelo’s ‘creation’ sequence from the Sistine Chapel.
